Idea Inspiring time, I collected a few pictures for you and I want you to create five different captions for each of these pictures. They can be as long as three paragraph captions or as short as three words, for example: meaning of life. Then, try to figure out a story plot that would work the picture and one of the captions into it. The problem with beginner writers is that they never know what their plot is, they don't know who the bad guy is or how the book is going to end. With some writers, this is just how they write and they get their best work from doing this. But there are other ways to write that will make it more fulfilling. First things first, you need an idea, the tiniest seeds are able to produce some of the world's most magnificent sights, such as the Redwoods of California. Your plot should be simple enough that you can expand on it as much as your heart desires, but complex enough that it doesn't sound like one of those generic kind of plots, similar to the prince saving the princess, or rags to riches kind of thing. From now on, I am going to start referring to people from real life in code names. When telling a story I will tell it with code names, and even my name will be coded (I will have several code names). After a little while I will have you guys say what you think the code names should be changed to, and what you think is my code name. Some examples of code names will be Freezer Man, Lefty, and Peep Killer. What are some ideas you think would make good code names? Send them in, I would love to read.
